Second trip cover looked better, took it home and parked it and while getting ready to unhook trailer our cat jumped on the trailer tongue and climbed into boat under the cover. We uncovered the boat to get the cat out, and found out that the seat was still not fixed.
I contracted to have Pratt’s Custom Shop to make a cover for my boat and to repair a boat seat.,
He ( Mr. Pratt ) was told that it needed to be cat proof , to keep our cat out. He told us that he could do
I could not stand the thought of taking the boat back there again. I had to say something so I took the broken support pole and made another trip to Mr. Pratt’s shop to give him the pole and try to talk to him.He did ask what he could do to make things right, but he had already had too many chances to fix things, he told me that the seat had been repaired, but it has not!. He told me to bring it back again, it is not that far only about 4 miles. If he would do what he promised the first time I would not have written this, he is a very likeable person. He just needs to pay more attention to his work.
Third trip back cover looked ok, went home with it , couple of days later we had a hard rain and one of the cover support poles buckled and I had to bail and siphon water out of boat. I pulled cover off the boat and made a home- made support pole and put the cover back on. Did I forget to mention that the seat was still not repaired.
Was not repaired completely.
